Load-Bearing Walls in Content Management

Home

Today’s post is about load-bearing walls in content management — those things that require a content editor to call a developer to change them. Where do you draw the boundaries? How much is too much?

Like yesterday, if you’re looking at this in RSS, you can (1) visit the post itself to use the little Windows Mobile widget, (2) get the raw MP3 here, or (3) if Feedburner does what it claims, there should be an MP3 enclosure on this post in your RSS reader.

OMG! The voice of the next Edward R. Morrow! About removing pre-installed crapware: last year we purchased several low-end lappies for some nieces & nephews in school. The first one was a nightmare. Enter Jason York’s PC DeCrapifier. The remaining lappies took a fraction of the time to prep.

Works like a charm, Ask for it by name.

toodles!
